For this assignment it is about reconstructing and deconstructing of classic men’s white shirt into a new garment for a particular client. The inspiration of this project is base on pop art movement, which our group picks to have Roy Lichtenstein. We have our own fabric design individually and the style of our own. I am inspired by the art piece of Roy, he work the style, subject matter and techniques of reproduction common in popular culture appeared to dominant the art entirely. For the print I took one of his original painting and change the color to a smoother feeling to make it feel more modern. Adding on the words ‘POW’ and ‘BOOM’ to make it more fun. The target is to bring the white shirt that I used pop out.
